In 2007, the company started its second venture, and created the customer-centered “JINGJIN MODE”, promoted the "automation + IT + Internet + environmental protection and energy saving", and entered the development period from smart grid to energy interconnection.
In 2007, the company clearly identified its three major businesses, respectively smart grid, environment protection and energy conservation, and Internet of Things; and its three auxiliary businesses, respectively software outsourcing, power electronics, and cable tool kits.
In July 2009, the company changed its name to Dongfang Electronics Corporation(Dongfang Electronics Co.,Ltd also renamed at the same time).
In December 2009, the company won the first Enterprise Management Award of Shandong Province (the only award winner in Yantai City in that year).
In March 2015, the company was granted the CMMI5 certification; in August, Yantai Haiyi Software Co., Ltd. was granted the PCMM3 certification, which was the first company in Shandong Province.
In 2015-2016, Yantai Dongfang Wisdom Electric Co., Ltd., Yantai Haiyi Software Co., Ltd. and Yantai Dongfang Zongheng Technology Co., Ltd. were officially listed on NEEQ (National Equities Exchange and Quotations).
In 2016, the company launched a strategic transformation from grid-dominated to energy-dominated business operations.
